All about the 
Disability Tax Credit

Are you curious about the Disability Tax Credit?

We are pleased to offer this upcoming workshop for parents, guardians and the wider community - just in time for tax season!

Date & Time: Wednesday February 27th, 2019, 7:00pm

Location: LDAH Resource Centre, Rotary Youth Center – 560 Guelph Line, Burlington Ontario

This workshop will be led by a guest speaker from the Canada Revenue Agency.

Join us for an overview of the Disability Tax Credit and learn some specifics on how to get started with an "RDSP" - Registered Disability Savings Plan.

Seating is limited, so please register in advance. There is no cost to attend this session, however, donations are always appreciated!

Spring Session Now Available
Assistive Technology Program for students in grades 4 through 9

We have added some critical writing essentials components to our Assistive Technology Program and added learning objectives specific to older students - all starting April 6th!

This program has been adapted to include a course for Grades 4 to 6 and the new addition of a course for older students in Grades 6 to 9.

Introduction to Advocacy, your child’s I.E.P. and an overview of other important topics for parents


This informative workshop will provide a broad overview for parents looking to receive information and support. 

Our subject matter experts will cover basics on navigating the school system, provide details on the I.E.P. (Individualized Education Program), the IPRC (Identification, Placement and Review Committee) and suggest practical tips and ideas for parents who are looking to be the best advocates for their school-aged child.

This session is ideal for new members of LDAH or parents who are starting their advocacy journey.

LDAH is proud to present the 8th Annual Solutions for Learning Conference on Thursday March 21st in Burlington. This year, our theme is: "Breakthrough to Excellence".
