Breakfast Program

Halton Food for Thought

Halton Food for Thought (HFFT) is dedicated to feeding the success of our students, one healthy, happy student tummy at a time.

In partnership with the Halton Catholic District School Board and the Halton District School Board HFFT will continue to adapt to ensure healthy food is available to students during the school day in accordance with Public Health, safe food handling and Ministry of Education guidelines.   More details on the format of HFFT Student Nutrition Programs to follow.

We want all children to reach their full potential and lead healthy, active lives.

To help ensure student success, please consider supporting, or donating to Halton Food for Thought.

Breakfast Program

In the past, through the generous donations from the Halton Food For Thought (HFFT) program and Cob's Bakery on Derry Road in Milton, MD offered a very successful & healthy breakfast to our students each morning.  Students were treated to nutritious breakfast in the Cafeteria available from 7:30 to 8:00 am.   Students took on a leadership role and worked with staff to plan the menu for the week ahead and to prepare hot cereal, bagels, eggs, pancakes, and more!

We thank Halton Food for Thought and Cob's Bread for their generous and continued support to our breakfast program.

This year, in keeping with the safe food handling protocols as set out by Halton Public Health, we are not able to run our program in the same way.  We will have some Grab N Go options for students who need a snack during the morning In-Person learning.  Stay tuned to twitter and morning announcements for more info.
